Pricing & Plans

How much does a website cost with JOE Design?+

Under the Up & Running plan, the website build itself is free — you just need to order a Deluxe hosting plan through GoJOEDaddy, which covers your hosting and domain. Additional pages beyond the first four are $75 each. There's no design fee, no agency markup, and no long-term contract.

What's included in a website build?+

A custom 4-page site (Home, About, Services, Contact), hand-built lightweight code, mobile-first responsive design, on-page SEO and AEO on every page, a matching professional email address, and 60 days of free maintenance and edits after launch.

What's the difference between the DIYer and Up & Running plans?+

The DIYer (about $155.88/yr for hosting and domain) is a self-managed WordPress + Divi site — you get a pre-built theme, security plugins, and training so you can edit it yourself. Up & Running is a free, hand-built HTML website that Joe personally designs, builds, and maintains, where you only cover hosting and domain costs.

Is hosting really free, or is there a catch?+

The website build itself is free. Hosting and the domain name are the only ongoing costs, billed through GoJOEDaddy, a GoDaddy-powered hosting account. There's no hidden design fee added later.

The Process

How long does it take to launch a new website?+

The process runs in four steps: choose a plan, a quick call to gather your business details, design & build, then launch & maintain. Since every site is designed and built personally by Joe with no agency layer in between, most 4-page sites move quickly from sign-up to launch.

How does AI factor into the design and build process?+

AI tools are used throughout the workflow — for sharper copywriting, faster graphics production, and more thorough SEO and AEO research — but every creative decision, every line of code, and every client conversation goes through Joe directly. AI speeds up the work; it doesn't replace the judgment or the personal relationship.

I already have a WordPress site. Can you help me move off it?+

Yes. JOE Design helps clients transition from WordPress to hand-built HTML sites, which load faster, are easier to secure, and don't depend on plugin updates or theme licensing. For clients who'd rather keep managing their own site, the DIYer plan also offers a pre-installed WordPress + Divi setup with security plugins and an hour of one-on-one training.

Will my new site rank on Google?+

Every site is built mobile-first with on-page SEO in place from day one — proper headings, meta descriptions, fast load times, and clean code search engines can read easily. SEO and AEO are treated as part of the build, not an upsell added later.

Do I own my website, or am I locked into JOE Design?+

You own your files outright — no lock-in. If you ever want to switch hosts or work with someone else down the road, your site and its files go with you.

3

After Launch & Support

What happens after my site launches?+

Every build includes 60 days of free maintenance and edits after launch. After that, ongoing maintenance plans are available — or, since you own all your files, you're free to maintain the site yourself or bring in anyone else you choose.

Can I make edits to my site myself after launch?+

It depends on the plan. Hand-built HTML sites under Up & Running are typically maintained by Joe directly for speed and security. The DIYer plan is built specifically so you can log in and edit pages yourself using the Divi visual builder, with an hour of training included.

Where is JOE Design based, and who do you work with?+

JOE Design, Inc. is based in Jacksonville, FL, and works with small businesses across Florida. Every project is handled directly by Joe — no account managers, no middlemen.

How do I get started?+

Call (904) 501-9526 or fill out the short questionnaire on the Get Started page. Joe personally reviews every submission and follows up to schedule your build.
